Día de los Muertos Day of the Dead Sugar Skull Stashjar
Full on sugar skull, cactus and dusty desert vibes with this little beauty of a jar. The worry dolls in the dome on the top were procured on a family trip over the border to Matamoros in 1994. The clay cactus is hand sculpted and painted.
To the experienced snacker you may notice that this a reclaimed salsa jar!! Grab some tortilla chips and get ready for the munchies! The small sarape (or jorongo) has been resin cast onto the side of the jar so that it wont ever rip off, but we left the tassels free to float around. You can fidget with them, or braid them or bead things onto them or tie little charms onto them!!
A 12 oz jar that been reclaimed, recycled and re-used because we love the mf'n Earth!
You can keep anything you'd like in this jar and it will be sure to protect your precious treasure. Harlot Handiwork stashjars are always glass and made with your precious treats in mind. They're built to last too! Every jar body and lid is covered in layers of clear resin to protect the design and keep it from peeling. It is water resistant, but shouldn’t be soaked or sit in water.
If you need to wash it go ahead with warm water and soap and then dry it with a towel instead of letting it sit. The resin coating even helps with short falls - like the ones that happen from your lap to the floor! Plus, it's hidden, no one will suspect you’ve got goodies hidden in here!
